Fuses related to the heater/blower: F18, F24 & F38, all in the engine bay box near the battery. Relay T5 and T6 are also involved with the commands.

Had a look regarding fuses, only reference I can see in the handbook is F11 which is for “additional heating”, as well as active city brake and rear view mirror demist. Not sure if that is the fuse concerned.. Will investigate in the light of day tomorrow and try to report back on here after finding out cause and remedy… fingers crossed.

When you stripped down the fan did you test it by connecting it direct to a 12v supply to eliminate that as the problem? The blower motor is fed thru relay T5 from battery positive, and the returns to ground (earth/chassis) thru the speed selection rotary knob and a set of resistors allowing different blower speeds.

I think it’s actually a 30A circuit breaker instead of a fuse. Like CountryBoy90 said, it’s on the right side under the glove box. The circuit breaker can be reset using a narrow screwdriver or pin.

Where is the heater blower wire on my F53?
