What should I do if my car stalls when shifting into drive?
However if I start my car in neutral and shift into drive everything is fine. Also if i rev up the engine while shifting into drive the engine still drops significantly in rpms, but does not stall. Once in drive it operates great.

My truck wants to stall at low speeds. When I put the truck in neutral then Rev up the engine and pit it in drive it runs fine until I slow down again then it does the same thing. The garage changed the cam sensors but that didn’t correct the problem.

Why does my car stall when I put it in Park?
When it stalls, I put it back in park and it starts right back up and then there is no problem the rest of the day. It only does this when started cold, like from sitting overnight. Ideas on what I should look at? It could be the plugs, a vacuum problem or the throttle body has deposits. It could also be a bad sensor.

Cleaning and/or making an adjustment to the throttle body may correct the problem. Engine running at idle, plug the IAC passage, and the RPM (revolutions per minute) should be at or near 400 rpm. A vacuum leak present could also cause the engine idle to be improperly controlled and needs to be identified before any adjustments are made.
