I’m a drummer from Tucson, Arizona. I played snare drum for the Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps for a few years but now I am too old. I’ve been teaching drumlines, giving private lessons, and writing drumline music for a few years (check out the Services tab). I also play drumset!

The Phantom Regiment, who finished 6th place overall, captured the Fred Sanford High Percussion Award with an average caption score of 19.6 as the 2010 DCI season wrapped up at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
When did Brandon join Blue Devils?
He marched in his first indoor drumline the same year, and soon after, became well known by a video of him playing with the Blue Devils drumline in 2010. In 2013, he marched his first year in Drum Corps International with The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps. The following summer, at age 16, he joined the Blue Devils.

Brandon Olander is a Tucson, Arizona percussionist specializing in both rudimental drumming and drumset. Brandon began playing at age 10, and at 16, became one of the youngest snare drummers ever to join the Blue Devils; the following year, he became one of the youngest DCI Snare Drum Solo Champions.
