Batter may have a bad cell, but its still operating. The next thing you do is turn your bike over with the ignition and test that wiring harness that comes out of the stator. There should only be one or two wires. See if you can find one with voltage. If not, your windings are burnt.

Red Lead of meter goes on the POSITIVE side, Black lead goes on the NEGATIVE side. Get a base reading without the bike running first. Anywhere from 11.7-12.2 is normal. Now crank the bike and reinsert your leads from the meter. With the bike running you Voltage should jump up to 13.1-13.9.

When do you Know Your stator is working?
If your reading 13 or above you know you’re stator is working. If it is not, you are not charging and need to by stator windings, or an entire stator/stator cover package. What could it be?
