Well for no spark, forget about the red stator wire. Your concerned with black wire only. Disconnect the stator plug from the coil plug. Connect the red lead of your meter to your black Stator wire. Connect the other lead of your meter to the frame/ground.

Fuel checked out fine , battery checked out fine , all switches on and operational , no blown fuses , no burnt or chewed wires , bike was in neutral , etc. All the easy stuff wasn’t it. Replaced the spark plug , still won’t crank.

Is the plug on my Honda Foreman 450 on fire?
I’m new to this forum stuff. I bought a 2001 450S last month that has no fire to the plug. the last owner said he shut it down one day & it wouldn’t start-no fire. I have a honda manual & checked it out . the pulse generator is only making .2-.3 volts while cranking.

I installed a new one that had the same ohm resistance as the old one & checked the wire & -ground-same low voltage.Is there a cranking rpm listed anywhere? I have battery voltage to the ICM while cranking. Anyone have any thoughts?
How to test Honda Foreman 500 with no spark?
hook one test lead to ground and the other to the blue/yellow tracer wire and measure resistance, there should be none. and it shouldnt even register. then put one test lead on the white wire and the other lead still on the blue with yellow tracer wire. ill be looking forwar for you test thank you.
