Having bought a Ceed six months ago and having experienced a flat battery recently I called out the RAC under Kia Breakdown Cover. The RAC arrived within 30 mins started the car with a jump start and I thanked the RAC mechanic for his quick response and then commenced my 250 ml round trip.

Hi As to my flat battery problems the RAC chap used a mirror to see the back holding bolt, it was a struggle to get the battery out and to put the RAC battery in its place. The shroud round the Kia battery did not fit as the RAC battery is slightly longer.

What kind of battery does a 2015 Kia Cee have?
It’s a 2015 Pro Cee’d 1.6 CRDI 128BHP. Only issue I have had so far (and from what I’ve read it’s a common one) is that the ISG so far hadn’t worked once.. Thought I may as well bite the bullet and invested in a new battery, a Bosch S5 A08 70AH/760CCA AGM.
