Most engines sit at around 85-90°C when being driven normally, and you can get them up to 90-100°C when driving the **** out of them!!

When the A/C is on, Engine Hot, ALL the Fans (Electric in front of the radiator) AND the Viscus Clutch fan behind the Rad. should at least be spinning if not spinning hard. If you turn on the A/C and the compressor is running I believe the electric fans should be running too.

Different years and models of W204’s must have very slightly different ECU programming. My 2008 W204 C220 CDI (2.2L Diesel with 70,000Km) was reading between 70C to 80C for over a year and would always fall below 70 when going down a long hill, ie with engine doing the braking.
