The coolant temperature sensor is located on the thermostat housing an all of these year models. It is very hard to see. You have to go in from the front of the engine to find it. You should be able to find the wiring harness on the top of the engine near the front and it will lead you to it.

No disrespect but chances are this guy does not own an Acert! They are made to be lugged, all the way down to 1100 rpm. It’s not the same as an “E” or the first C15’s (6nz) there is absolutely no power above 1500 and running one there will do nothing but burn fuel.
