After rt side seat airbag activation, is the seat just sewn up again or would one replace upper part of the seat or just get a whole new seat? It seams silly to get a whole seat as it is just that side that splits and one can add an airbag and sew it back up. If your seat cover doesn’t allow the airbag to deploy, you are likely going to be smashing your head and upper body into the side of the vehicle in the event of a crash. Never a good idea.
