Why does oil leak out of clutch push rod?
Oil will leak out of the seal if the seal is seated too far in; blocking off this hole. The exposed face of the clutch push rod seal must be installed “flush” with the face of the seal opening.
How to change the seal on a clutch?
1- Remove the clutch release mechanism. 2- Pull the clutch push rod out of the motor. 3- Squirt a little high quality grease through the push rod hole in the seal. 4- Reassemble everything.
Can a hydraulic clutch turn into Jell-O?
It’s happened on every Honda I’ve owned that’s had a hydraulic clutch. It’s no an o-ring. It’s a seal about 1.5″ around, with a 1/4″ hole in the center. The clutch fluid dissolves the seal over time, turning it into Jell-O. Easy to replace, but like you said, you need new engine case gaskets and a Saturday to do it. Possibly #23 in this diagram?

How to remove seal retainer plate on clutch push rod?
Remove the seal retainer plate (2 bolts) The seal retainer plate can be tricky. Try NOT to bend it. Once the 2 bolts are remove the top of the bracket should come forward. Then the bracket can be lifted up and out. you may need to loosen the 2 or 3 bolts on the stator cover that are closest to the front sprocket. Retainer plate removed
