What kind of resistance does a hotspark ignition coil need?
Ideal for use with HotSpark ignition kits. The Bosch coils above should have a primary winding with 3.0 to 3.3 Ω resistance. Bosch coils are made in a number of countries, with varying amounts of primary and secondary resistance. It’s best to check the coil’s primary resistance with an Ohmmeter (a digital multi meter in the 200 Ω mode).
