How often should I change the oil in my Honda Accord?

Car had regular dealer oil changes every 5,000 miles. I started running full synthetic and DIY oil changes every 6,000 – 7,500 miles. Car never burned a drop of oil in the first 130,000 miles- (though I did notice I was a little low at 107,000 miles- it needed a new PCV).
