Bobcat filters include inner and outer air, cab, DEF, DPF, engine oil, fuel, crankcase ventilation, and hydraulic oil filters.
Is the hydraulic oil good on a bobcat?
Just bought a 2002 773G bobcat, hydraulic oil is low so I called dealer. A 2.5 gallon jug is $40 , it just seemed pretty high . Is their hydraulic oil that good or can I buy another brand that is as good or better for a better price. I don’t want to cheap out , then again I don’t want to throw money away. I seek knowledge!
Who is the manufacturer of Bobcat hydraulic fluid?
Oil for vehicles is one thing tractors and skidsteer and that type of equipment are more expensive to take care of in general. It’s actually manufactured by Kioti, and they tend to specify fairly generic fluids. However, it sounds like Bobcat is still recommending their own fluid.
Which is the best oil filter for an engine?
Plastisol securely seals the filter media into metal end caps, whereas other oil filters use fewer stable sealants, such as glue. Heavy-duty coil springs maintain the media cartridge seal under pressure. And a louvered inner line allows maximum oil flow to the engine.

Can a hydraulic oil filter be used on the return side?
No, it can be done either way. Many machines like Bobcats that use lot’s of hydraulics will have a screen on the pickup, a suction side filter, and a filter on the return side. The return side would have a spring bypass so that oil could still flow if the filter clogs.
