What kind of climate control does Subaru Outback have?

This is a 2005 model with climate control (aka fancy digital display). I took apart the passenger side dash, and it appears that all the actuators are working properly, so I’m a bit stumped.

WOW! part numbers 80321-shj-a02 and 80341-shj-a01. The “low freon” speculation…needs to be investigated. I suspect the cold air coming out of the passenger side is plenty cold, which would not be possible with a freon leak. Before bringing it into the shop, check out the driver’s side air mix motor.

The air drawn in from outside is first blown, by the fan, through the AC evaporator, where, if the AC is on, the air is cooled and dehumidified. The air then flows to the heater core area. If the temperature control is set to cold, the blend door should route the air around the heater core, so that the heater core is not involved.
