The RACGP is a not-for-profit entity and is endorsed as a deductible gift recipient (DGR-1) under subdivision 30B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 for donations made for education or research in medical knowledge or science.
How long is Racgp training?

The RACGP’s Vocational Training Pathway is a three-year vocational training program for medical practitioners wishing to pursue a career as a specialist GP. On completion of all of the requirements of the pathway registrars can apply for Fellowship of the RACGP.
How do I become a Racgp?
Membership of the RACGP National Faculty for GPs in Training is free, and open to any RACGP member who satisfies the following criteria:
- Medical students and pre-vocational doctors interested in General Practice training;
- Any doctor on a recognised pathway towards FRACGP;
- New Fellows within 5 years of Fellowship.
