What is the difference between magpul Gen 1 and 2?
gen2 is lower profile when folded. Front sight design, Gen 1 has a pin you have to put in place once you zero. Gen 2 has detent like many other sights. Hands down i would recommend gen 2 if you could even find a gen 1 set new.

Is the front sight on the MBus pro good?
Great iron sights that are easy to adjust. The front sight has a very subtle cant to the left, which is annoying. Might replace it with the MBUS pro eventually. Otherwise works and seems pretty sturdy.
Are there any iron sights on the MBus?
This review is for the MBUS set (front & rear): They’re iron sights (made of polymer). They are, however, solid. No wiggling or anything. They are a bit tough to slide onto the rail to line up with a slot, but that is a plus IMHO.
