What happens when you hit the brakes on a 2001 cat 3126B?

My 2001 3126B shuts down when I hit the brakes hard. It has done this at 35 MPH and at a coast in the shop. Feels like an electrical/electronic shutdown as it is instantaneous. Does not loose power it just shuts down. Starts right back up and runs fine but don’t give it a hard brake because it will shutdown.
