What does the 2nd Battery do in a Jaguar?
I’ve always known that there are 2 batteries in the boot, but what does the little weeny 200A 14Ah one do? Presumably it is the start-stop battery, which acts more like a giant capacitor? Or is it a battery for the non-engine starting duties?

Sills Sills Sills! Check the sills for rust. Take off the plastic sill covers, held on with a few plastic clips. Some will break but they are easily obtained from Jag spares shops. Also remove the plastic undertrays to give easy access to the inside edge of the sills.
