What do you do in a Girls Who Code Club?
They serve as a place (virtual included!) for girls to spend time together while learning about CS and building their confidence. Clubs provide participants with a sisterhood of supportive peers and role models, and an opportunity to use their skills to positively impact their community.

What do girls learn in Girls Who Code?
Through the 40-hour curriculum, girls learn the core four skills of coding languages (variables, loops, conditionals, and functions). Using these tools, the students work together to develop a computer science-based community service project as a group.

Girls Who Code offers the three big C’s: capabilities, career, and community. By providing girls with the opportunity to learn computer science skills through after-school clubs and summer immersion programs, they are providing pathways at an early age to the computing workforce.
