See all problems of the 2014 GMC Terrain . Tl the contact owns a 2014 GMC Terrain. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shutoff without warning. The contact attempted to restart the vehicle multiple times before the vehicle would resume normal operation.
Why does my GMC Terrain Run after key shut off?
The pump is powered by the camshaft. the seal in the pump fails allowing fuel to get past the shaft and into the crankcase. If these fuel in the oil keeps up and they have a redesigned pump then GM should do a recall. I suggest that anyone who had this issue report it to NHTSA.

The check engine light would come on and go off intermittently as well. Pulled the oil dipstick and oil smelled of gas. Did a little research and there is a mechanical high pressure fuel pump that the seal goes bad and allows gas to enter into the engine oil.
