Is UUNI the same as Ooni?
Ooni and Uuni pizza ovens are the SAME thing. At some point last summer, Uuni pizza ovens changed the spelling of their name to Ooni. Because the change was recent, you will still see Uuni pizza ovens, as well as Ooni pizza ovens, but fear not – they are the same, high-quality outdoor pizza ovens!
Is the OONI pizza oven worth it?
At $299 for their base model, the Ooni pizza oven is definitely an investment. However, adding a pizza oven to your outdoor area may really spark some joy for you and make pizza night more exciting! Also, this is a well-made, quality cooking appliance that is going to last for years as long as you take care of it.

As we are a truly global brand, we have decided to change the spelling of our name from ‘Uuni’ to ‘Ooni’, which is the phonetic spelling. The pronunciation of the word isn’t changing at all – it has always been ‘oo-ni’, we’ve just tweaked the spelling to make it as easy as possible.

Is Ooni or Roccbox better?
Roccbox makes excellent pizza despite not being as competitive in pricing. If you want to make large pizzas using a simple propane oven, your best bet is the Ooni Koda 16. If you only plan on making smaller pizzas (up to 12 inches) using wood I recommend the Ooni Karu 12 or Ooni Fyra 12 for the best value.
How do you keep Ooni pizza warm?
If you have used the Ooni before, be sure to scrape any remaining ash off of the baking stone. Open the gas valve and turn on your oven to the highest temperature setting. Leave it on high for at least 15 – 20 minutes to allow the stone to get sufficiently hot.
