Why does my Mercedes Benz take so long to start?
In all cases, the engine turns over without a problem so I don’t think it’s the starter motor. Invariably, if I wait from between 5 to 10 minutes (without attempting to start the vehicle) the vehicle will start first time but today it took half an hour (and many attempts) to get it started.

What is the fault code for the Vito oil sensor?
Have fault codes P1482 (glow) P2006 (mainifold air control) P1470 Boost Pressure P1188 ( Piston cutoff solenoid) and P1192 oil sensor but the last 2 only show up if I plug in Fuse 23. (ecu feed ) Engine fan then comes on an van will rev irratic to 1500rpm up and down like a misfire. Without fuse 23 it runs ok but in limp mode.
Is the CCS sensor on the Vito too sensitive?
If you put the correct amount in ccs according to the manual it would be fine and the level would be bang smack in the middle of the full and low marks . So you have to ask the question is the sensor on the vito too sensitive or is the dipstick just slightly inaccurate did someone get it wrong and not allow for the expansion of oil.

Where is the coolant temperature sensor on a Mercedes Vito?
The coolant temperature sensor is located on the front of the thermostat. This is on the left hand side of the engine bay tucked in behind the oil filter and near the alternator. Easiest access is through the front – pop the grill off and you can get your arm in.
