Is there a D&D 4th Edition?
The 4th edition of the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game comprises an intercompatible set of rulebooks and other products published by Wizards of the Coast from 2007 through 2013.
Why is D&D 4E good?
To me, 4E does two things extremely well, that help make it such an awesome RPG: it has a focus on strategy that I feel hearkens back to its wargame roots (Chainmail), while also using strategy to speak to current avid video gamers, for which battle strategy and tactics are often of prime concern.
What happened to the 4E VTT?
While we appreciate the enthusiasm and participation in the Beta phase, we were unable to generate enough support for the tool to launch a full version to the public. Effective July 30, 2012 the D&D Virtual Table Beta will be coming to an end and the VT will be closed.
Does D&D still play 4E?
You’ll still see 4e games out there, but even before 5e it was never as hugely popular as say… Pathfinder. It’s not the place for pro’s and con’s , but regardless you can still find games for any system under the sun. It might just take a little longer.
