I have owned my 2007 Mercury Montego since new. I currently have 315,000 miles on the original motor and transmission. The motor still does not use any oil and runs good. I have the six speed automatic transmission and it also still works good. I have used full synthetic motor oil since new and changed the motor oil and filter every 5,000 miles.

Only CON is that it is a little slow off the line, but for a safe, AWD daily driver, it is the best automobile that I have owned. Highly recommend. I have owed the car now for a month.
