The front coil over shock with a strut bushing “shock” of the Commander, looks a lot like, and functions in many ways like a MacPherson Strut. But the Commander has double wishbone front suspension, NOT a macpherson strut suspension. People call it a strut, calling it a MacPherson strut would be wrong, perhaps technically it is still a shock.
