Bozeman shoe company Oboz Footwear has been acquired by New Zealand-based outdoor retailer Kathmandu in a deal worth as much as $75 million, the companies announced this week.
Are Oboz made in China?
JC: We make all our product in Vietnam; we moved from China a couple of years ago. There are shoes being made in other countries as well, but generally to make quality footwear, you need to be in an area that’s established.
