Why is Kafei a child?
Kafei is the son of Mayor Detour and Madam Aroma. Kafei fell in love with Anju, and was supposed to end up marrying her on the 4th day, but was turned into a child by Skull Kid. Seeking help from the Great Fairy in north clocktown, he was attacked by Sakon the thief, and his sun mask was stolen from him.
When can you do Kafei quest?
Go to the Laundry Pool in Clock Town and wait until 3pm. The Postman will come ring the bell to deliver the letter to Kafei. Kafei will come out of the house and collect the mail. While he’s distracted, run inside of his house and wait for him.
Where is Kafei on the third day?
Day 3, 6PM: Get the Stolen Mask. Warp to Ikana Canyon and go to Sakon’s Hideout. Kafei will be hiding behind a rock near the entrance.

Who is Kafei from The Legend of Zelda?
During his youth, Kafei was a member of the Bombers Secret Society of Justice. The owner of the Curiosity Shop states that he was a childhood friend of Kafei’s and gave him the Keaton Mask as a gift. Later, Kafei eventually fell in love with Anju when they were children and they became engaged.
