On my ’04 700 EFI it will display the specific code numbers. You do not need to read the flashes. You can run this mode even if there are no codes present. It will finish diagnostic mode with the word “END” if no codes IIRC. It appears on my XP there is no consumer method to enter diagnostics if there are no pending codes.

What’s the problem with my Polaris air conditioner?
These errors are for the barometric pressure/air temperature sensor that is mounted on the rubber intake hose, just up from the airbox. the problem is the connector and not the sensor. I don’t know if Polaris has fixed on the 2006 machines, possibly, but possibly not. On 2005 EFI machines it is definitely not fixed.

I got somes errors last weekend, along with the ‘check engine’ warning, got them again yesterday on our ride and had to call it early again. The errors I got were 41 and 46, but I believe you can also get 45.
