Can a Kia brake disc still be used?

My discs developed a lip after only about 20,000 miles, the metal seems to wear faster than the pads! But they are still ok for use, even after my 100,000 mile service. Kia discs also develop a layer of rust in the slightest rain shower. So have get a second opinion to make sure you don’t waste money due to a garage trying to drum up work.

What kind of pads do I use on my Kia?

If you have some silicone based grease about give the callipers and slide guides a good dosin on the way past as they can dry up. Mintex where well priced and are very grippy pads compared to stock on mine. Take the wheel off and its 2 bolts to remove the calliper. Discs are a piece of piss too.
