How old is the battery on a 2012 Versa?
2012 Versa, battery is 3 or 4 years old. By clean all connections do you just mean the connections where I attach jumper cables? Because those are very clean and not corroded at all. Yeah the battery and battery cables were all replaced by Nissan in April of this year. I’ve checked the cables and they are tight, and everything seems to be getting power. It’s just the car isn’t even making any electronic noises at all.

Hello this has happened to a Nissan Versa I recently bought it has a new alternator and a brand new battery. With a full battery charge it drives about 40 miles with nothing turned on. When I cut on items such as the air or radio it drains after about an hr or 15 miles. It Sometimes stays cranked and goes into Limp mode before dying completely.

I recently replaced my 6-year old original battery in 2010 Nissan Versa. Went to pepboys and their parts computer suggested a battery that in no-way would fit in my versa. So the Pepboys employee pulled out a tape measure and got a Bosch with the same dimensions as my old one.
Which is better Nissan Versa 42 or 51R 60?
The 42-60 is the same price as the 51R-60, but it has more power: 500 CCA vs. 425 (OEM battery is 470) and 600 CA (not sure OEM). If it gets as cold as I think it will this winter, I’ll be grateful for the added oomph.
Is the Nissan Versa everstart Maxx T5 still good?
Update: As of 2016 the Walmart Everstart Maxx T5 still fits and connects well with the footing in the 2007 Versa. Just thought I would keep this good thread updated.
