How much does a Yamaha Grizzly 660 carb cost?
I have a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly 660. One of the local dealers here in AZ wanted $600 for a new carb….here on Amazon it was $58 with free shipping, which made my decision a no brainer. I’m not a professional mechanic and using a Clymer manual made this a relatively easy install. The jets that came pre-installed seem good for Arizona.
Is the fuel line too big on a Grizzly 600?
There have also been reviews that the fuel line is too large. Both claims are mostly valid, this carb is a little larger than the factory one. However, it does work and will bolt on using the factory hoses on a 2000 Yamaha Grizzly 600 4×4 with some effort
How to adjust the CARB on a grizzly?
Click to expand… I seem to recall that if you loosen up the boot, hold your tongue just right, and squint just like Clint Eastwood; you can twist the carb around far enough to do it without pulling the tank… Did you find the recommended reading relevant to this discussion?
Where is the air jet needle on a Yamaha Grizzly?
Click to expand… Thanks I would like to know why the Yamaha engineers put an air jet needle on the bottom where you have to take the fuel tank off just to get to the carb and remove it to do the adjustments what were they thinking???
