How much does a 1998 Saturn SC2 cost?
I love my 98 SC2. Bought it for 1200 almost a year ago and it needed a couple of things fixed but repairs and parts are cheap. I’ve only put in maybe $200 in repairs besides the oil changes and there’s a couple minor things that I look past since it’s a beater after all.
Is the Saturn’s series a good car?
The only real issue i have with this car, is that on the freeway the gas pedal can sometimes feel like a sponge when trying to accelerate. It takes a while to gain speed (100HP what do you expect). 40mpg on the freeway, insanely easy car to work on, comfortable and safe to drive, and super low maintance if you keep up on your oil changes.
Where did I Buy my 1998 Saturn wagon?
GM stopped making plastic bodied Saturns. Bought our SW2 Saturn Wagon (Manual Transmission) used with 37,000 miles on the clock. Bought it mostly for commuting, toting kayaks and bicycles including some long loaded down trips from Maine to Florida and Maine to Indianapolis as examples.
What did the 1996 Saturn’s series look like?
No complaints about the Saturn’s looks or body. With full set of snow tires it was a snowmobile. Never got stuck, whether commuting on our rural roads or heading to a ski area in a big snow storm. In wagon form it was actually a fairly good looking little car with plenty of cargo room seats down.
