How long does DuraSeal take to cure?
Approximately 8 hours. Allow to dry overnight for light traffic. Allow to dry for 30 days before replacing furniture and rugs. NOTE: Drying time will be increased by high humidity, low temperature, lack of air movement or applying too heavily.
How do you apply DuraSeal stain?
Apply the first coat of DuraSeal® Penetrating Finish liberally with a brush, lambs wool applicator or cloth at a coverage rate of approximately 500 square feet per gallon. Allow to penetrate for 5 – 8 minutes then remove excess by wiping with rags or by buffing with #2 steel wool.
Can you spray DuraSeal?
Clean floor thoroughly: vacuum and/or sweep floor to remove loose dirt and grit. Spray DuraSeal® Pre-Treat over a large section of the floor (approximately 3″ x 12″). When dry, immediately apply DuraSeal® X-TERRA® Floor Finish in the sheen of your choice, making sure to follow the label instructions.
Is DuraSeal a good product?
DuraSeal, which is made by Minwax is in my opinion a better product and generally leads to better a result on floors (i.e. more even coat and less likely to have drying/curing issues). Most flooring professionals STRONGLY prefer Duraseal, and have tested both stain brands.
How do you remove Dura seals?
DURA-SEAL Sunscreen Remover
- Apply some sunscreen remover to a microfibre cloth.
- Go over the area using small circular motions with a little pressure.
- Let it dry to a haze.
- Using a clean part of the cloth or another soft cloth, wipe away the residue.
- Repeat the process if needed.

What is DuraSeal?
DuraSeal® Waterbased Polyurethane is a single component urethane resin that provides the look and durability of traditional oil based polyurethane. Its unique technology applies as easily as DuraSeal® Polyurethane with the ease of water cleanup.
What do I do if my wood stain is too dark?
If the wood is too dark, soak a clean cloth in turpentine or mineral spirits and rub the wood firmly and evenly along the grain. This will lighten the stain but not remove it.
Do you need to put Dura seal on your car?

Is the dura seal on ceramic paint good?

Is the dura seal G3 a good idea?
I recently bought a new BMW 116i in black and was told about Dura Seal G3 which is a ceramic based paint protector. Probably you have heard of it already, but what I to know is it worth spending around $500 for it ?
