How is swing path measured?
To measure the Club Path angle (in/out), the club path is projected onto the X-Z plane (i.e. the ground) and the angle the club path is measured against the path of swinging straight through the ball. ‘Outside in’ refers to the club path coming closer to the golfer as the head swings through the impact point.

What is the perfect swing path?
To shallow your swing path, focus on the right arm. As you swing down, the right elbow should drop below the left arm (below). When you do this, you’ll notice the right side of your body contracts, and the hybrid or fairway wood approaches the ball on a flatter angle in relation to the ground.
How far should a senior hit 7-iron?
A 70-year-old man should be able to hit a seven iron roughly 135 yards. The 135-yards shot will vary depending on the use of steel or graphite golf equipment. Graphite shafted golf irons tend to go a bit further and make it easier for the senior golfer to launch the ball higher as well.

Are there any complaints about the swing talk?
One of the biggest complaints with attached swing analyzers is having to constantly readjust them. The SwingTalk, though better than others I have tested, does need adjusting on roughly 1 out of 3 iron shots. Sometimes the sensor would slip down a little or it would twist.
Can you use swingtalk on a driving range?
Took some swings in the backyard with the SwingTalk and wiffle balls and it seemed to work. Next day took the device to the driving range and the ST app would continue crashing. Surprisingly, the DR app worked however it’s not that accurate and doesn’t reflect the actual distance or direction hit.
