The KLX and TTR are pretty small if I remember. But I do think they now make a larger version of the KLX140. As a beginner, your learning curve will be better if you can put your feet flat or nearly flat on the ground. But at the same time you don’t want the bike to be too small.

One drawback is the TTr 1st gear which seems to be taller so not as much of a ‘tractor’ as the CRF for really slow trail riding / tight stuff. Oppositely, the CRF runs out of power / gears sooner in more open terrain (only has 4 speeds)
