I found out that the vin number will tell you the age and so I was hoping the 10th digit in the vin was going to be a 5, however it was a B which seems to tell me my bike is a 1981! The guy assured me it was a 05 model and even wrote it on the receipt, is it possible the bike has had new forks or something because it doesn’t look as old as 1981.
