How do you remove the lower control arm from a Jaguar?
Jack up, axle stand and remove the wheel, undo the outer bolt first, (the hub will move, but don’t worry, it pulls back later) the arm should drop and swing inwards, then undo the inner bolt and the arm will be free. To fit, just reverse, to get the outer bush to line up you may have to pull the wheel hub about a bit.

On the vehicles involved, it is possible that an under-torque condition may exist on the front lower ball joint assembly. This may result in a high bending fatigue loading condition on the joint.
Can a sway bar be removed from a lower control arm?
There could be a mini taper fit for this connection so you may need to shock it loose much like the ball joint. Grasp the sway bar link and remove it away from the lower control arm mount. This will help the sway bar link stay out of the way during the job.
