When do you Know Your ignition switch is bad?
Eventually the multimeter should read “no continuity” in the “On” position, indicating that the switch is bad. Of course proceed at this point only if the switch failed one of the continuity tests. Also, make sure that the ignition switch is in the “Lock” position before proceeding any further.
