Why is my car alarm going off for no reason?
My car’s alarm has gone off 2 times last night, so i thought someone wanted to get in. Nope, this morning, it went off again for no reason. It can’t be the wind causing this. I tried rocking the car to set it off, nothing happened. My car is completely stock, no aftermarket electrical of any kind.

Can you get a Mazda alarm without the tech package?
It would be an aftermarket alarm. Mazda doesn’t offer it as a dealer add-on. Not sure I agree with you there unless you know for sure. Only reason being, obviously, according the manual it IS possible to get a Mazda Alarm without Tech Package (since they give non-Tech package instructions for it’s operation).

Hold your foot on the brake pedal for 1 min. Reconnect the battery and check for normal operation of the system. If the alarm is still sounding, I suspect that you have a faulty door switch or hood switch. This will require a Mazda dealer to connect a computer and diagnose which one is causing your concern.
What to do if your car alarm won’t go off?
You will first need to verify that there is no aftermarket alarm/remote start system installed. If found, remove it!!! If concern is still present, you should be able to disarm the factory alarm by using the key to unlock the drivers door or pressing the unlock button on the key fob transmitter. If still no luck, try and disconnect the battery.
