Does TEP charge a deposit?
Deposits. TEP may require from any present or prospective customer a deposit to guarantee the payment of bills. We may require a customer to pay a deposit if payment of three or more bills is delinquent within a consecutive 12-month period or if service has been disconnected for non-payment.

Payment is due no later than 10 days from the date of the bill. Any payment not received within 25 days from the date of the bill will be subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% and will be subject to the provisions of the company’s collection and/or power shut-off procedures.

Customer Assistance (Lifeline) Program TEP’s Lifeline Program offers monthly discounts for qualifying limited-income customers who need support in meeting their energy costs.
