Does Nest Protect work with SmartThings?
That meant we couldn’t control our Nest Protect smoke detector or Nest Hello video doorbell during testing. SmartThings users will soon be able to unite Nest devices with their existing WWST-certified devices to set up automations (or routines, if you will) and create custom smart home scenes.
Can I add Nest to SmartThings?

Does Nest work with Samsung?
Samsung and Google have joined forces and beginning in January 2021, You can do all of this and more. After adding your Nest devices into Samsung’s app as Works with SmartThings devices (WWST), you’ll be able to do things like adjusting the Nest thermostat’s temperature and more by voice straight through the app.
How do I set up First Alert Z-Wave?
Pair the ZCOMBO (1st generation) to your Ring Alarm Base Station
- In the Ring mobile app*, tap to add a device.
- Under Security Devices, locate Alarms > First Alert Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm.
- Tap Ready.
- Open the battery tray of your alarm.
- Insert the batteries but keep the battery tray open for now.
- Tap Next.
Is Nest still supported?
The product lasted from 2017 to 2020, and with its discontinuation, Google has left the home security market. With today’s announcement, we now know that the Nest Secure will continue to work and get security updates until at least November 2022.
Where do I Find my nest on SmartThings?
