Does ABS Work on handbrake?
Since car is stationary, ABS won’t make any difference. ABS won’t even make a difference if you’re driving at low speed. Handbrake is also used for drifting, but if you have ABS, the purpose of making the vehicle slide will be lost. As ABS won’t let the wheels lock up, thus preventing sliding.
How did you find Peugeot central ABS / ESP fault?
Yahoo Had a problem with ABS/ESP light coming on after fitting a new battery on my 308.Car was OK before fitting battery.Anyway decided to take car for a run to see if that would cure it.After a short while light went out no more problem.Been running car for a couple of days now.Still OK How did you find Peugeot Central?: Google
Why are my abs lights not working on my Peugeot 308?
A couple of weeks driving now and no more errors – so can only assume a bump may have dislodged a connection slightly and caused all the issues. I know this might not help every issue with ABS lights, but it’s a zero cost, 5 minute job that can be done to try to elimate it as a possible cause before taking to a dealer.

When does ESP failure warning appear on Peugeot 407?
I have recently noticed that after starting up and driving for a few minutes, my 54 Reg 407 2.0 HDi Executive displays the ABS Failure and ESP Failure warnings on the dash. The diagnosis check on startup shows everything to be OK and then after about 10 – 15 minutes of normal driving, these 2 warnings get displayed.
