The users solution though was to take it to the dealership and pay them $70 to reset the error codes which is beyond ridiculous to me. I’m wondering if anyone here knows how I can reset the codes?

Very strange. My wife just called me with a ‘Collision Mitigation Braking System Error’ on her 2017 Pilot Elite with ~3,000 miles on it. She had just driven through a construction zone, just like the two quoted instances.
