Do you need BEM code for new battery?

Do you need BEM code for new battery?

Which I think means you need a battery with a BEM code and needs to be coded , or I guess you could buy the same rating battery without a code and reuse your code from the old battery ? Just a though – If you don’t know anyone who can code for you you could check out RAC website and see how much they will charge.

Can you confirm new battery, is coding required?

There is conflicting information, some people saying yes, and other information stating the car eventually learns a new battery has been fitted. Can anyone confirm the car will eventually learn the new battery? I know the official line is coding is needed, but is It really? Rodders. Crazy price from Audi!!!

Do you need to code a B8 S5 battery?

Thanks for the info above. I replaced the battery on my B8 S5 yesterday, started first time but indicated 10% on the meter with only ‘essential’ kit working. I then drove around for a while and at 20% all kit was working and within 30mins it was indicating 100%. So no need to to code it, just drive around till the car ‘learns’ the battery state.

Do you need to code battery on Audi S5?

So no need to to code it, just drive around till the car ‘learns’ the battery state. Does the S5 have the stop start function? My one doesn’t but newer ones do, I’d guess that start/stop would be ‘non-essential’ and would only work when the battery was indicating above a certain percentage.

How do you put a security code on a radio?

Write down the security code. Turn the ignition switch to the “On” position and turn on the radio. Enter the security code using the soft buttons on the touch screen display. Turn off the ignition when the radio resumes normal operation.
