The 3.8 T-5 will work fine, its strong enough for your low mod 5.0. You must use a 94-95 5.0 T-5 bellhousing, 5.0 shim plate, and 5.0 157-t 50oz flywheel. Gotta remember that the flywheel must fit the bellhousing and vice versa, this also affects the starter motor. Use 5.0 10.5″ clutch. 3.8 or 94-95 clutch arm will work.
