Are VX freedom scopes good?
Overall a pretty great optic for the price. VX-Freedom line seems to offer solid quality at a very reasonable price.
What scope is better than Leupold?
Vortex optics tend to less expensive than Leupold and, in some cases, offers features at a lower price point. Leupold costs more, but their optical quality seems a little better across the board, and they have a larger offering of scope models than Vortex.
What is the Leupold VX R?
The Leupold VX-R is a high-end scope with a mid-level price tag. It’s durable, accurate, and lightweight. Plus, the Illuminated Ballistic Firedot reticle is excellent for rapid target acquisition. It’s one of my favorite hog gun scopes.

Does Leupold VX-freedom have zero stop?
They DO have a zero stop when the CDS dial is installed. They DON’T with the factory MOA dial that it comes with. A zero stop isn’t the same thing as a zero lock however. The stop only stops it in moving in one direction.
