How do you back up a Tri Glide Trike?
You have to push that lever back in to reset, and then follow the recommended backing up sequence. While foot or hand is on a brake, release the parking brake. With foot or hand still on brake push the R button until the R appears in the right gauge, take your finger off the R button.

No problems were discovered while dismantled and since then I’ve logged 3500 hard riding trouble free miles. My Road king on the other hand was found to be the victim of the notorious gasket failure issue.
