Is Duke 690 discontinued?
KTM will not launch the Duke 690 in India and the company will discontinue the model in the future, replacing it with a twin-cylinder bike. Just like how KTM-Bajaj have done with the Duke and RC for the 125, 200 and 390 bikes, the company will follow the same strategy with the Duke 690 replacement.

Can I use 10w60 instead of 10w50?
Both oils are much the same, use either. 🙂 Yep, the 2008 690 Enduro owners manual, said you should use 10w60. The 2009 manual said use 10w60, but 10w50 would be ok too.
