The VTEC oil pumps are the same. There are only 2 types of B series oil pumps, OBD2 and non OBD2. The OBD2 have a mount for the crank fluctuation sensor, that is the only difference. The oil pressure is not determined by the pump, but the pressure relief spring in the block, as you mentioned.
