Why was Nissan Teana discontinued?
Nissan India has discontinued the Teana due to poor sales and strong competition in the D-segment. This is the third discontinuation after the 370Z and X-Trail were axed last year.
How good is Nissan Teana?
This version of Nissan teana is the Nissan Altima that was selling very well in the U.S. What makes it a good car is its comfort, space and fuel economy. Not the best car in all aspects but it’s really a nice and comfortable ride for the driver & passenger. The CVT works best when traveling on the highway.

was imported from Japan. Just in case if you’re wondering why have I gone this route. in NZ, they’re $70K (inclusive of on road charges) and no govt subsidies . It would have been cheaper for me to fly to the US, pay cash for a Nissan Leaf and ship it to NZ. The only problem is our vehicles are right hand drive.
